Pamela Parker and Local Anthology

Pamela Parker captures the San Francisco music scene, ranging from rock to gospel to R&B to epic psychedelia. Her vocals, guitar and piano playing drive fans absolutely wild. Her latest album, The Fantastic Machine blends sultry soulful vocals with powerful rock anthems. Pamela Parker has built a new sound of her own. Her live band brings it all together with dynamic stage presence and commanding vocals that can drive you, make you dance, and take you on an epic journey.

The upcoming album, MotherSTAR, touches on new & old sounds to create a luscious soundscape with a wide range of surprising touchstones like Aretha Franklin, Heart, Lady Gaga, Erykah Badu, Led Zeppelin, & Parliment Funkadelic. One of Pamela's first solo albums, Evolutionary Process, debuted at #1 and was up for Album of the Year in Canada (Vancouver, BC).

With her band, Parker has toured the US and internationally, gaining notoriety and experience playing world funk reggae rock music. Fulfilling a dream held since the age of 10, she finally moved to San Francisco in 2007, where she produced, engineered and released her debut record, Beautiful Day . Working the Bay Area music scene, she quickly had her pick of top players and put together an all-star line-up. The band has opened for legendary acts such as Heart and Big Brother & The Holding Co., and headlined festivals such as Haight-Ashbury Street Fair, Earth Day SF, Guitarfish, Gratefulfest, Folsom Street Fair, ULUV and more.

Local Anthology is, "On a mission to defy the laws of tradition."
Founded by Harrison Russell and Motor Boat Mick, our world rhythm hand percussion guru. Local Anthology is a Tahoe based Original 4-piece outfit that came together in October of 2018 with the addition of NY bassist Tony Leombruno from the east coast prog band Capital Zen and Cam Davey multi-faceted drummer/songwriter from Palmer, Massachusetts. As we explore the sonic highway of creation, we float around Skunk Funk with a taste of Reggae & Punk. Combined with our positive, uplifting and thought-provoking lyrics, Local Anthology strives to create "True Rebel Music."
Drawing influence from 90's progressive funk rock, with sprinkles of Live Electro Dub Reggae, the band continues to build a storied soundscape, with the release of their sophomore album "Identity Crisis."
